Sankofa means "one must return to the past in order to move forward." Thus the Akan belief that the past serves as a guide for planning the future. To the Akan it is this wisdom in learning from the past which ensures a strong future.

The GRABB Sankofa MIxer & Pop-up marketplace celebrates emerging Black entrepreneurs in West Michigan. From artisan candles and soap, to fresh baked goods and handmade wares, GRABB Sankofa MIxer & Pop-up marketplace will feature an exciting and diverse range of local vendors.
